Description
C-17 Support Equipment Tube, Guide-HPT 1 st Stage Vane & Blade Inspect_4710-01-287-8213 This requirement is for a firm-fixed price contract with three one-year options for TUBE, GUIDE, HPT 1 ST STAGE VANE & BLADE INSPECT; NSN: 4710-01-287-8213; Part Number PWA81760. The basic requirement is for a quantity of 2 each (includes first article), Test Plan (1 LO) and Test Report (1 LO). The three one-year Options are based on quantity range of 1-2 each. The function is to meet the requirements of Part I Functional Analysis, the F117-PW-100 engine may require an unscheduled internal inspection of the 1 st stage turbine vanes (convex side) or the 1 st stage turbine blades due to crew or engine monitoring fault reports or suspected ingestion of foreign objects. The internal inspection is required in order to evaluate the engine part deterioration (wear limits) or the amount of damage to engine parts to determine if the engine may remain in service or must be removed from the airframe. Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit and detailed instructions contained in the RFQ. All responsible Small Business sources may submit a proposal to be considered by the contracting agency. The Government will utilize the Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS), Excluded Parties List System (EPLS), and other Government databases to determine contractor status before evaluating proposals. Proposal will be evaluated based on criteria stated in the RFQ. We anticipated release of the RFQ on or around 27 August 2018 with an estimated response date of 27 September 2018. The RFQ and all attachments will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities webpage (http://www.fbo.gov/).
