Description
C-17 Support Equipment Puller, Mechanical-GRBox Face Seal Rotating Ring Remove_5120-01-256-4408 This requirement is for a firm-fixed price contract with three one-year options for Puller, Mechanical-GRBox Face Seal Rotating Ring Remove; NSN: 5120-01-256-4408; Part Number PWA81098. The basic requirement is for a quantity of 2 each (includes first article), Test Plan (1 LO) and Test Report (1 LO). The three one-year Options are based on quantity range of 1-2 each. The function is when it is necessary to remove the gearbox face seal rotating rings, P/N 7T0302 for the deoiler drive; P/N 7T0301 for the hydraulic pump drive; P/N 7T0301 for the fuel pump drive; P/N 7T0304 for the starter drive and P/N 7T0303 for the integrated drive generator system (IDGS) from the F117-PW-100 Gearbox assembly a means of removal is required to overcome a friction fit between the rotating ring and the gear shaft drive. All of the rotating rings have a puller lip that range from 1.190 inches in diameter to 2.921 inches in diameter, depending on which rotating ring is being removed, on their outside diameter to facilitate removal. Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit and detailed instructions contained in the RFQ. All responsible Small Business sources may submit a proposal to be considered by the contracting agency. The Government will utilize the Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS), Excluded Parties List System (EPLS), and other Government databases to determine contractor status before evaluating proposals. Proposal will be evaluated based on criteria stated in the RFQ. We anticipated release of the RFQ on or around 27 August 2018 with an estimated response date of 27 September 2018. The RFQ and all attachments will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities webpage (http://www.fbo.gov/).
