Government Policy Letter Description: The Contractor shall furnish the services of transporting aircraft engines by commercial air-suspension trucks as set forth in this Performance Work Statement (PWS) in accordance with (IAW) the terms and conditions of this PWS and applicable Japanese Government laws for land transportation. Expected Performance Period: Base Year 01 Dec 2018 through 30 Nov 2019 with four (4) one-year options (Subject to change) Pre-proposal Conference : A pre-proposal conference will be conducted at 10:00 AM on 21 Aug 2018 at the 374th Contracting Squadron, Bldg. 620, Yokota Air Base. All offerors who are interested in this requirement are encouraged to participate in this pre-proposal conference. Please submit the names of all attendees ( not to exceed 3 persons ) to Mr. Yuma Kato by e-mail at yuma.kato.jp@us.af.mil by 11:00 AM on 17 Aug 2018. This information must be provided in advance in order to ensure access to the military base/conference site and adequate seating for the conference attendees. Those who need an escort are required to come to the Gate 5 (Supply Gate) by 09:30 AM on 21 Aug 2018. You must bring the proper identification (valid passport, Juku-net card, My Number Card with photo, or driver's license with 8 digits password). For the vehicle pass, please make sure you bring the proper original insurance documents. Failure to provide the proper documentation may cause you not be able to enter the base. The Government will not provide any transportations to participants. Offer Due Date: 12 SEP 2018, 02:00 PM (Japan time) NOTE: THIS PROJECT WILL BE PERFORMED IN ITS ENTIRETY IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. THE SUCCESSFUL OFFEROR MUST BE LICENSED AND REGISTERED TO PERFORM THE SERVICE IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN.
