Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTIFICATION ONLY a. Building 202 : The primary intent is to convert an existing office area into a single open room for Public Affairs photo and closed circuit television utilization. This entails selective removal of specific interior non-loadbearing walls, suspended ceiling sections, and flooring. The remaining walls will be repaired and painted, as needed, if they were damaged or compromised during the interior wall demolition. The suspended ceiling will be removed and reinstalled, and the existing light fixtures will be retained and reused. The suspended ceiling and runners will be black in color. Light fixtures will be reinstalled and wired to a switches as documented on the plans. Electrical outlets will be installed at four locations on the underside of the roof. The carpet will be removed, floor scraped, and either left as bare concrete or vinyl tile installed if the option is awarded. a. Building 142 : The primary intent is to convert an existing open area into an area capable of receiving demountable partitions for office spaces. This entails removal of a non load bearing wall, moving a low-voltage transformer above the location for the suspended ceiling, securing a floor utility access door, moving an electrical panel, installation of a suspended ceiling, and installation of commercial grade carpet. The low voltage transformer is currently at eye level and will need to be moved above the future location of the suspended ceiling. The floor utility access door does not currently seal and will either need to be repairedto not make noise when being walked on. The suspended ceiling will be installed at a height to accommodate the demountable partitions to be purchase under a separate contract, and have proper HVAC registers and lighting in each office space.
