- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotations (RFQ 140P8618B0018) and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 05-81, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This service category falls under NAICS 541620 Site remediation consulting services. The Government intends to issue a firm-fixed price contract to a single vendor determined to be responsive and responsible. The Government will consider price and past performance in determining responsibility. We reserve the right to cancel this solicitation. Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks require the services of a company that can provide staff certified by the State of California Division of Occupational Health as a Certified Asbestos Consultant, as well as supporting sampling, sample analytics, and other services necessary to perform asbestos consulting services during asbestos abatement of piping insulation from four single family residences in the Grant Grove area of Kings Canyon National Park, California The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, supplies and supervision necessary and shall plan, schedule, coordinate and assure effective and economical performance of the project, as described herein (see attached Statement of Work). The service period for this contract is to be completed by fourth quarter 2018 and to be invoiced upon completion of the project. The basis for award will be cost and past performance; the successful company will be the lowest price that is responsive to this request for quote with the experience and equipment that fully and clearly meets the requirements described herein. Delivery is to be made by a date specified upon award of the contract. This purchase has been set aside for Total Small Business.
