Description
Notice of Intent to Sole Source Air Force District of Washington (AFDW/PK), intends to award a firm-fixed price one (1) year contract on a sole-source basis to MicroPact Federal, LLC., Cage Code 1G8P7 for the purchase of the Air Force's Justice Information System (AFJIS) using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 518210, 'Data Processing, Hosting, and Related Services'. AFJIS is a comprehensive cloud-based enterprise environment that shall provide Air Force law enforcement stakeholders the enhanced capability to rapidly and efficiently manage a variety of law enforcement, criminal, and intelligence functions; as well as a broader range of senior executive reporting requirements. Additional capabilities include legal and command action, and confinement tracking capabilities with military protection orders. AFJIS will integrate with external federal law enforcement databases to ensure accurately and timely crossflow of Law Enforcement Sensitive (LES) data. AFJIS is a new requirement and will replace the existing means in place providing these functions. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive responses. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency before 23 August 2018, 1200 EST. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred in preparation of quotations/capability statements. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit, in writing, complete information describing their ability to provide the product/services listed above.
