Description

The National Science Foundation, intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order with United Services Automobile Association (USAA) for minor repairs, alterations and electrical, and other services that are to be performed by the building owner, USAA, or their agents for the NSF occupied facility located at 2415 Eisenhower Avenue, Alexandria, VA 22314. The procurement is pursuant to the authority of FAR 13.501(a). The planned purchase order is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of (FAR) 13.501(a). There is only one lessor. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this planned purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The anticipated period of performance is September 9, 2018 - September 8, 2019
