- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number 140L2218Q0012 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) with an open date of August 10, 2018 and close date of August 27, 2018. This document incorporates provisions and clauses which are in effect through FAC 2005-99. This is an acquisition under North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) 333120 and a size standard of 1,250. The BLM New Mexico Farmington Field Office has a requirement in soliciting quotations on a competitive basis from qualified vendors to enter into a firm fixed price contract for a brand name Caterpillar Skidsteer to be furnished in accordance with solicitation 140L2218Q0012 supporting documents. Line Item 00010: The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), requires a brand name Caterpillar Skidsteer, 299D XHPHF Compact/Multi Terrain Loader with XPS High Flow Hydaulic System, One (1) each. The following FAR provisions and clauses are applicable under this synopsis/solicitation: 52.212.1, 52.212.2, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, and 52.212-5, (see 140L2218Q0012 clauses and provisions) and can be downloaded as full text at http://www.arnet.gov/far. Contractors shall be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov in order to be considered for a government contract. Offers are being accepted through FedConnect and by electronic mail to etippeco@blm.gov. Offers must be submitted via company letter head, referencing this RFQ, the company name, point of contact, address, phone number, DUNS number, the unit price, the extended price, and any prompt payment discount terms.
