- SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS The US Army Medical Command, Regional Health Contracting Office-Central, Fort Carson Health Contracting Cell is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify sources that have an interest in and the resources to support a requirement for Mobile Shockwave Therapy Device for William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC), El Paso Texas and Evans Army Community Hospital (EACH), Fort Carson, Colorado and possible other MTFs. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this requirement is 334510, electromedical and electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing. The potential sources must be able to support MTFs; average monthly case load is 12-15 patients per military treatment facility for the FDA approved treatment of chronic plantar fasciitis and lateral epicondylitis. See Salient Characteristics below: • Must be High Energy single dose Extra Corporeal Shockwave Treatment (ESWT) • Able to use in the Operating Room to maximize the productivity and less anesthetic time for the patient. • Shall perform under 7 minutes per treatment area. • Device able to deliver between 14K -28K to be reparative for the patient. • FDA approved THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
