Description

ERDC Contracting Office intends to solicit on a sole source basis under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1903/FAR 13.501(a)/Sole Source (including brand name) acquisitions to Stratasys, Inc. located in Eden Prairie, MN., Stratasys, Inc. being both the sole manufacturer and holder of specific patents that makes Stratasys Objet1000 Plus 3-Dimensional (3-D) Printer and accessories. The Stratasys Objet1000 Plus 3-Dimensional (3-D) Printe has the capacity to provide multi-material 3-D resin inkjet printing that is capable of printing large models using polymer resins and digital materials simultaneously within one print job without having post processing activities to compete a model. The Government requires a printer that has the ability to print multiple material simultaneously with no post processing time that allows for models to be immediately ready for use after printing. The printer must have the ability to scale and deliver a high-resolution and muti-material models in color within a single model. The capability of multiple material will allow the Government the flexibility to print models with shore values ranging from rigid to flexible while allowing for different color shades. The printer system must be capable of creating complex models/parts from CAD files which will help reduce the time of file manipulation and avoid file format incapability. The printer must also have an extensive build range allowing for a print volume of at least 100x800x500mm to provide accelerated printing for large detailed models. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 2:00 P.M. CT on 21 Aug 2018. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
