Description

The Department of Veteran s Affairs, Network Contracting Office 1, 1 VA Center, Augusta, Maine 04330 will be soliciting will be posting a request for quotation (RFQ) on FBO on or about August 10, 2018 for Emergency Shelter Beds in the Manchester, NH area for beneficiaries of services of the Manchester VA Medical Center under NAICS Code 624221. The RFQ will be will be unrestricted and shall be conducted in accordance with FAR 13 procedures. The VA intends to award a single, firm fixed-price purchase order to the successful offeror but reserves the option to make multiple awards if determined in the best interest of the government to meet the overall required number of beds. The contractor shall provide bed space, housing, meals and therapeutic case management services for up to 8 homeless Veterans in accordance with the performance work statement. The apparent successful offeror(s) must successfully pass an on-site pre-award inspection by specified VA officials prior to and as a condition of award, if an inspection has not been conducted with satisfactory results later than 7/31/2017. A copy of the Performance Work Statement (PWS), initial inspection checklist, past performance worksheet, and the applicable wage determination will be posted with the RFQ. The period of performance shall be one base year starting October 1, 2018 to September 30, 2019. An additional four, one-year option periods will be included to be exercised at the sole discretion of the Government contracting officer.
