- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation 140F0518Q0109 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The anticipated award date is within 5 days after the close of this announcement. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-97. This requirement is being solicited as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 314110 Carpet and Rug Mills. The small business size standard is 1,500 employees. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation. Line Item Description(s): Line Item: 00010 *Approx 450 ¿ linear feet of 5 ¿ wide ADA rolled beach access mats *Shipping/Freight Charges Delivery Schedule/Period of Performance: Delivery of the preceding item no later than six (6) weeks ARO FOB, Destination Delivery Location: U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service 4005 Sandpiper Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23456 Terms & Conditions: The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items and submit with its offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition Any additional contract requirement(s) or terms and conditions determined by the contracting officer to be necessary for this acquisition and consistent with customary commercial practices are attached as a separate document. Submission Dates: 1.Site Inspection: Prospective Contractors are highly encouraged to inspect the site prior to submitting a quote. The inspection date has been scheduled for 10:00am, Tuesday, August 21, 2018 located at 4005 Sandpiper Road in Virginia Beach, VA 2345. Contractors are to gather at the park ¿s Visitor Center and a USFWS employee will meet you there. 2.Question Submission: All questions regarding this Solicitation must be submitted in writing to Ryna Russell at ryna_russell@fws.gov no later than 12:00pm, EST, Friday, August 24, 2018. If necessary, questions received will be answered through an Amendment to this Solicitation. 3.Quote Submission: Quotes must be transmitted via e-mail to Ryna Russell at ryna_russell@fws.gov, no later than 12:00pm EST, Tuesday, August 28, 2018. Submissions must include a signed copy of the solicitation (SF 18) your quote and all amendments (SF30) if applicable.
