Description
The Wilmington VA Medical Center intends to issue a construction contract. The project requires a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) contractor to furnish all labor and materials, equipment, supervision, and personnel necessary to accomplish the project as indicated on the drawings and in the specifications. Work includes but is not limited to trades required for the project: Electrical and finishes. Smart board and V-Tel Equipment: Relocate Smart board and V-Tel equipment in room 7013(conference room) to room 7090 (Library). Smartboard to be mounted on the east wall. Repair, patch and paint wall as required. Ham Radio: Relocate Ham radio and all associated equipment in room 7013 (conference room) to room 7090 (Library). Reference line items 2 and 3 above. Contractor shall disconnect, dismantle as necessary, move and reinstall in new location all existing equipment. Make relocated equipment ready for operation or use immediately after reinstallation. Replace carpet in room 7090. Contractor to move all furniture as required to perform the work. VA will disconnect computers and reconnect the following day if required. Remove and properly dispose of all flooring, cove base and threshold. Prep floor as required. Install new flooring, 4 cove base and threshold. Carpet squares are to be placed on the quarter turn. New flooring products to be submitted and approved by Steve Howard prior to order. The project magnitude is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The full solicitation will be posted on or around August 15, 2018 and will include the entire Scope of Work. labor, transportation, materials, equipment, and supervision required to perform renovation and construction at Building 17, on the Ground Floor of CLC Room W-19.
