Description
THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. This Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) is in support of Market Research being conducted by the Alabama Air National Guard - Dannelly Field, Montgomery AL, to identify potential competitive or a Small Business Set-Aside for 13K Defense/DOMOPS Airlift Modular Approach Shoring (DAMAS) or equal. This is not a Request for Proposal (or solicitation) or an indication that a contractual commitment will exist for this requirement. The government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market research. No funds are available to fund the information solicited. The 187 Fighter Wing located at Dannelly Field, Montgomery AL, is requesting information, pursuant to FAR PART 10, in support of Market Research to identify potential sources for the following: One (1) set of 13K Defense/DOMOPS Airlift Modular Approach Shoring (DAMAS) System to include: Ramp a. Single axle rating - 13,000 lbs. per axle b. Multiple axle rating (spaced GREATER THAN 50"apart) - 10,000 lbs. per axle/20,000 total weight c. Multiple axle rating (spaced LESS THAN 50" apart) - 13,000 lbs. per axle d. 94" Length, 24" Wide, 4" Thick e. 2 carry handles on each side of ramp f. Traction provided by "High-traction rungs" on top surface h. Ramps pin to Ramp Pads and to Stands using ¾" Steel Rods and Retaining Clips Ramp Pad a. 40" Length, 8" Wide, 4" Tall b. Smooth belting bonded to underside to prevent "metal-to-metal" contact with aircraft. c. Ramps and Wedges pin to Ramp Pads using ¾" Steel Rods and Retaining Clips 13" - 15" Stand a. Adjustable height 13" -15" uses ¾" Zinc Coated Steel Pins and Retaining Clips for height adjustment b. Smooth belting bonded to underside to prevent "metal-to-metal" contact with aircraft. c. Ramps pin to Stands using ¾" Steel Rods and Retaining Clips 20"-26"Stand a. Adjustable height 20" -26" uses ¾" Zinc Coated Steel Pins and Retaining Clips for height adjustment b. Ramps pin to Stands using ¾" Steel Rods and Retaining Clips 36"x28" Wedge a. Single axle rating - 13,000 lbs. per axle b. 28" Length, 24" Wide, Incline height 0" - 4" c. Smooth belting bonded to underside to prevent "metal-to-metal" contact with aircraft. d. Traction provided by "High-traction rungs" on top surface f. Wedges pin to Ramp Pads using ¾" Steel Rods and Retaining Clips It shall be compatible to use on a USAF C-130, C-17, and C-5. It shall have International Air Transportation Certification awarded by AFLCMC/EZFC Air Transportability Test Loading Activity (ATTLA). The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 336413, which has a corresponding Size Standard of 1000EMP. The Government is interested in all businesses to include, Large Business, Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Businesses 8(a)s, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, Hub zone Businesses, and Women-Owned Small Businesses. The government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. Additionally, please provide any anticipated teaming arrangements, along with a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers for the past three years. Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime, and the work accomplished by the teaming partners.
