Description
The Army Contracting Command - Warren (ACC-WRN), intends to release a solicitation for Door Maintenance and Repairs for Roll up doors at Sierra Army Depot (SIAD). Contractor will furnish all materials, supplies, parts, tools, equipment, transportation, and assure that all services are performed in accordance with the contract specifications. The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: Annual and Quarterly Preventative Maintenance - The contractor will provide annual inspection and preventative Maintenance on Roll up doors located at SIAD. There are eight Fast Acting Roll up doors that will receive this maintenance quarterly as opposed to annually. Fire Door Certification - The contractor will be performing fire door certification on all doors that require this endorsement (70 total) on an annual basis. Fire certification shall be completed in accordance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)-80; Standard for Fire Doors and other Opening Protectives. Repair Efforts - While performing Preventative Maintenance, the contractor will inspect the doors and evaluate if the door is in need of repairs. If a repair is needed, the contractor will then notify the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) of the potential repair, along with a cost estimate, and a timeline of repair completion. No parts are to be ordered and no repair efforts are to start until the Contracting Officer gives the contractor a written notice to proceed. Once the Government authorizes the contractor to make the repair, the contractor is to complete the task with the specified time. There may be a required repair that affects life, safety, health, or security and needs to be repaired immediately. If one of these instances ever arises, the Government will contact the contractor, and the contractor must be at SIAD within four hours of the contact being made.
