Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is 36C25818Q9624 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Quotes will be evaluated based on: price only. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-99 effective 07/15/18. The VA s Million Veteran Program s (MVP) lead biorepository is located in Boston and the CRPCC is now identified as the backup site and needs to perform sample storage processing procedures. The samples are stored in vials and are susceptible to damage if mishandled during processing. The use of Capper/Decapper equipment reduces the amount of time a sample is exposed and is more efficient than trying to screw on/off vial caps by hand. SCOPE This requirement is for a BRAND NAME/MODEL 4111MAT Thermo Scientific Capit-All Screw Cap Tube Capper/Decapper and a BRAND NAME/MODEL 4105MAT Thermo Scientific 8-Channel Screw Cap Decapper. These models are compatible with other equipment being used by the Clinical Research Pharmacy Coordinating Center. SPECIFIC TASKS The following section specifies the tasks for the contract. Provide one (1) 4111MAT Thermo Scientific Capit-All Screw Cap Tube Capper/Decapper. Provide one (1) 4105MAT Thermo Scientific 8-Channel Screw Cap Decapper. Provide standard manufacturer warranty. All items shall be covered by manufacturer's warranty. Quote shall be valid for a minimum of 60 calendar days after due date of quotations.
