- SUBJECT: Notification of Intent to Award a Sole Source This is a notice of intent to award a sole source, Firm- Fixed Price (FFP) contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) - FAR 6.302-1(b)(2) - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to Hambrick-Ferguson Inc., located at 2800 N. Oklahoma Ave Oklahoma City OK 73105. The scope of the requirement is to purchase pump, upgrade and install system. The upgrade needs to be compatible with the current Federal Transfer Center Oklahoma City mounting plate, lines, enclosure, supports, and switches compatible to our existing system. Within these capabilities, we can order to restore the redundant capabilities of the sewage ejector for it to be fully compliant with technical design guidelines/division 17, standards as well as the additional testing requirements of the Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP). Hambrick-Ferguson Inc is the sole vendor and supplier of the Aurora 631-SF Sewage Ejector pump system 4x4x9 in place with the specifications needed. This includes mounting plates, lines, enclosures, supports, and switches compatible to our existing system. Hambrick-Ferguson is the only known company at this time, which can provide the FBOP with the system and technical services for this requirement needed in this upgrade. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, at the Federal Transfer Center Oklahoma City (FTC) Oklahoma, will award the requirement. The NAICS code for this requirement is 333996. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. A Request for Quote (RFQ) will not be available for this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated service can provide supporting documents demonstrating their capability and specifications within five (5) days after date of publication of this notice of intent.
