- Copy of solicitation for the requirement. Provisions and Clauses applicable to this acquisition at the time of award. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses of those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-99, Defense Procurement Notice 20180629, and Air Force Acquisition Circular 2018-0525. This procurement is being issued as a small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 333517 with a size standard of 500 employees. This is being solicited as an ‘Or Equal' request, the right to make multiple or no award is reserved in the event it is advantageous to the Government to do so. The government will place an order with the offeror whose offer meets technical acceptability and lowest price. Only quotations representing fulfillment of the requirement IN ITS ENTIRETY, as per the posted Request for Quotations and associated specifications, will be considered and evaluated for award. Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, 355th Contracting Squadron is seeking to purchase one (1) 50 Watt CO2 Laser Engraving Machine with accessories, MFPN#: EPILOG HELIX - 50 WATT "Or Equal". CLIN structure is as follows: CLIN 0001 - (QTY: 1/EA) 50 Watt CO2 Laser Engraving Machine, Air Assist Compressor, Rotary Attachment, Filtration System w/ Hose & Connectors Proposals shall at minimum satisfy the salient characteristics listed below for CLIN's 0001. All items must be deemed technically acceptable by the government. The Aircraft scale kit shall meet the following salient characteristics: • 24" x 18" Active Engraving and Cutting Area • Air Assist Functionality • Radiance High Energy Optics • Auto Focus • Red Dot Pointer • All Purpose 2" Focus Lens • Variable Resolution to 1200 DPI • Relocatable X-Y Home • 64 MB RAM Quote must also include or equal attachments / accessories: • Air Compressor • Rotary Attachment • Filtration System w/ Hoses and Connectors F.O.B. for this procurement shall be Destination. Please see attachment for all applicable contract clauses and provisions. The government will place an order with the offeror whose offer meets lowest price and technical acceptability. Important Dates/Times (All Times are Arizona Local Time) • All questions must be submitted via email to the Point of Contacts listed below by Thursday, 23 August 2018 at 4:00 PM Arizona Local Time. • All questions will be addressed and posted no later than Friday, 23 August 2018 at 4:00 PM Arizona Local Time. • All quotes must be submitted via Email response to the POC's listed below by Monday, 27 August 2018 at 4:00 PM Arizona Local Time. It is the responsibility of the vendor to ensure their quotes are submitted via the specified method and time.
