Description

Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) Contracts Department, Orlando, FL announces its intention to issue a contract modification to procure, on a sole source basis, additional Navigation, Seamanship and Shiphandling Contractor Instructor Services (NSS CIS) from LB and B Associates Inc. This modification will be issued on an other than full and open competition basis as only one responsible source will satisfy agency requirements. LB and B is currently performing these services and supplying qualified contractor instructors, under contract N61340-11-D-1007/0006. They are the only contractor with the requisite knowledge and experience that can meet the Government ™s requirement of additional instructor hours by 15 SEP 2018 without inducing an unacceptable delay. This sole source action is being requested in order to have uninterrupted service until the new contract is awarded. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION AND SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. RESPONSES IN ANY FORM ARE NOT OFFERS AND THE GOVERNMENT IS UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO AWARD A CONTRACT AS A RESULT OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NO FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE TO PAY FOR PREPARATION OF RESPONSES TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. ANY INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY RESPONDENTS TO THIS TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY.
