This amendment to Market Survey Posting 31185 is issued to post a REVISED Statement of Work (SOW) to include the following: Submission of two (2) test samples “ one high frequency and one low frequency “ with the proposal. The Screening Information Request (SIR) will contain applicable clause(s) and instructions for submissions; and Measurement of frequency response for each unit, to be documented on a data sheet enclosed with each filter. Please reference the attached revised SOW when submitting your responses to this market survey. If you have already submitted a capability statement for this requirement, please notify the CS at jennifer.lucas@faa.gov if the revisions affect your previous response. ---------------------------------------------------- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking interested sources that are capable of providing the required items. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore, any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor's expense. At this time the nature of the competition has not been determined. The FAA may decide to do a full and open competition or set aside all or part of the procurement for small businesses or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) Program. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, 8(a) certified firms, and all other business types and sizes, capable of providing the items IAW the specifications as stated in the SOW. Interested firms are required to submit a copy of their SBA 8(a) certification letter, if applicable. In order to make the determination, the FAA requires the following from interested vendors in accordance with the attached draft Statement of Work (SOW) and additional information requested below: 1. Capability Statement - This document should identify: Type of goods/services provided by your firm Size and type of goods/services provided by previous contracts (provide detailed information and past performance) Number of years in business 2. Questions or comments regarding the attached draft SOW. All responses to this market survey must be received by 5:00 PM CST, 08/27/2018.
