- This Presolicitation Notice is posted in accordance with FAR 5.201. The related sources sought notice information can be found at: https://www.fbo.gov/spg/DON/NAVAIR/N68335/N68335-18-RFI-0330/listing.html The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey intends to competitively procure the machining and delivery of the Navy's Aircraft Launch, Recovery (ALRE) and Support Equipment (SE) components. This will be a competitive 100% small business set-aside procurement. The basis for award and proposed contract type will be provided with the formal Request for Proposal (RFP). The solicitation will be posted on the FedBizOpps website at www.fbo.gov. The Government will only release the solicitation/RFP, including any subsequent amendments, on the FedBizOpps website. No telephone requests for the solicitation will be accepted, no written requests will be accepted and no hard copies of the solicitation package will be mailed. Any amendment issued will be posted to the same website. After the solicitation release, vendors should regularly access the website to ensure they have all amendments. No emailed or faxed proposals will be accepted. The point of contact for this effort is: Ms. Angela Slater at Angela.slater@navy.mil IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Registration in the Department of Defense DoD System for Award Management (SAM) database will be a prerequisite for receiving an award. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis. This synopsis is for administrative purposes only. It does not constitute a solicitation for bid or proposals, and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government.
