Description

Combined Synopsis/Solicitation- PLEASE READ CAREFULLY Buy American Certificate shall be completed, signed and submitted with response to solicitation. PLEASE REVIEW THE ENTIRE SOLICITATION (ATTACHED) The U.S. Air Force Academy's Aeronautics Department has a requirement to purchase a high-speed data acquisition system capable of resolving gas properties in a detonation reaction front only millimeters thick and traveling at speeds greater than 2,000 meters per second past the measurement device. In order to satisfy the Nyquist theorem and collect non-trivial data, a collection speed of 40 mega samples per second is appropriate. Detailed system requirements are given below: 4 analog input channels (threshold, 8 is objective) 1 digital input channel 12 bit resolution or better on at least one analog channel (threshold, 16 bit is objective) 40 mega-samples per second per channel Able to collect and store data continuously for 30 minutes Buffer speeds that allow storage of up to 1 TB of data in 30 minutes (~600 MB/s) Controllable via Matlab or LabView on a PC, or control system with user interface included Standard commercial warranty Shipping FOB Destination shall be included in price BUY AMERICAN COMPLIANT EQUIPMENT IS PREFERENCE
