This is a SOURCES SOUGHT request for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine the following: The interest and capability of small business, especially service disabled veteran owned small business and veteran owned small business; Whether the business source is a manufacturer or authorized distributor, verified by an authorization letter from the original equipment manufacturer; and Size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 334310 for the proposed acquisition. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10 is seeking potential sources for an BEHRINGER, brand name or equal, to be provided for the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center needs installation of a new Audiovisual (AV) System to serve Veterans, family members, staff and visitors. The new technologically advanced system will replace the antiquated system which was removed during Chapel renovation and is necessary to integrate with the Medical Center s HDTV network. This AV system is vital to the mission of the Chaplain Service as we work to fulfill our mandate to enhance Veterans experience. The contractor shall provide all necessary equipment, tools, materials, labor, etc., required to design and install the AV system in the Medical Center located at 1481 West 10th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202. The AV system must ensure that all Chapel Service events offer quality sound reinforcement in the Chapel. The AV system must be capable of broadcasting live Chapel services as well as prerecorded spiritual, educational and musical AV feeds simultaneously to all in-patient Veteran rooms, 24-hours a day. This may require that multiple (digital) channels be provided to the Chaplain Service within the CATV network. The video camera included in this system must be capable of interfacing with the CATV network (via a modulator) and must be capable of providing quality video 24-hours a day. Please submit a line itemized quote to include installation, warranty and any relevant support service agreement fees. At a minimum, the following items are required: 12 Chanel Audio Mixer with: Monitor out, Phantom Power, built in effects, Bluetooth/Wireless connectivity and audio line to ZeeVee 820 Speakers (Number to be determined by the contractor during the system design phase) Speaker amplifier (as needed) Speakers mounts (as needed) Speaker Cable (as needed) Goose Neck Podium Microphone with on/off switch (1) Dynamic Microphones (2) Condenser Microphones (2) Collapsible Microphone Stands, Black, (2) Instrument Cables (lifetime warranty) (4) 10-15ft XLR Cables (lifetime warranty) (4) XLR/Instrument port or Pocket Mini, installed in wall near Piano & Organ (2) and Cable run to AV closet Digital video camera with CAT5 or HDMI cable ran to ZeeVee ZvPro 810 (1) ZeeVee ZvPro 820 (2 channel) Unencrypted HDMI Encoder/QAM Modulator (1) A/V looping system (tablet or laptop) capable of linking Chapel Service AV feeds to Medical Center AV network TV Monitor in AV Closet Coaxial cable return to TV Monitor required to view/troubleshoot all AV feeds User Training Equipment and installation Warranty Documentation (specifications, user and service manuals, etc.) The list above is not necessarily a complete list of equipment and the components required. The contractor shall assess the need to meet the overall scope and provide recommendations. The contractor shall follow all codes and facility requirements during installation.
