Description
lift aerial 1.0 Scope and Intent 1.1 Scope: Sell one new boom lift having manufactures warranty with shipping and delivery. 1.2 Intent: The boom lift will be used to survey and sanitize coconut palm trees in support of Coconut Rhinoceros Beetle quarantine eradication by the Commonwealth of the Marianna Islands, Department of Lands and Natural Resources in cooperation with USDA APHIS PPQ. 2.0 Requirements 2.1 Performance: The boom lift shall be towable, gas or diesel powered, having an articulating boom, minimum platform height of thirty (30) feet and capacity for two (2) persons, hydraulic stabilizers, maximum tow height of seven (7) feet, maximum tow width of six (6) feet, maximum tow length of sixteen (16) feet, and total cost including shipping and delivery. 2.2 The work environment involves uneven terrain, up to a 15% slope, in close proximity to other vegetation or structures of variable height requiring stabilizers and an articulating or articulating/telescopic type boom vs a telescopic only boom. Trees to be surveyed and sanitized vary in height with a typical productive mature height of 35'. Electric power is not available in the remote areas of intended use. The boom lift will be subject to maritime shipping during its useful life and must stow inside a 20 foot shipping container without disassembly. 3.0 Deliverables, Reports and Delivery Dates 3.1 Delivery to 17-3306 Neptune Ave, Barrigada, Guam
