- Notice of Intent to Sole Source: 36C25918P4721 The Department of Veterans SAO West, Network Contracting Office 19, located at 6162 South Willow Drive Suite 300, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 is hereby, submitting the intent to enter into a sole source purchase order agreement authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), the Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole source purchase order to the small business, BTE Technologies, Inc. 7455-L New Ridge Rd, Hanover, MD 21076 in accordance with FAR provision, 52.212-2(b), Evaluation Commercial Items. The associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 334510 and the Business Size Standard is 1250. The contractor shall provide the Oklahoma City VA Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK with The BTE Simulator II. The BTE Simulator II provides simulation of real life activities as a reconditioning, work assessment and occupational rehabilitation all in one piece of equipment. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the U.S. Government. Interested persons may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 4:00 PM Mountain Time, Friday, August 24th, 2018. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to meet the subject requirement. This information shall be provided at no cost or obligation to the Government.
