- This Presolicitation Notice is being posted in advance of Solicitation No. M67854-18-R-5037 for Platoon Water Purification System. NO PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AT THIS TIME. The Marine Corps System Command (MARCORSYSCOM), Product Manager for Logistics Combat Element Systems, has identified a future requirement for Platoon Water Purification Systems (PWPS). The PWPS is a vehicle transported, man portable system capable of purifying fresh water, brackish water, and saltwater to supplement "liquid logistics" required by the Marine Infantry Platoon conducting distributed operations for up to 30 days operating in an austere environment while conducting distributed operations. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract on the basis of best value to the Government using trade-offs. This acquisition is non-commercial and is not a set-aside. This effort shall be procured in accordance with FAR Part 15. The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards. The Government anticipates a period of performance shall not exceed 48 months after the date of contract award with four one-year ordering periods. Evaluation factors will be set forth in the forthcoming solicitation The anticipated release date of the solicitation is the end of FY18 on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at www.fbo.gov. All interested contractors should continue to monitor the FBO website for additional information and documents relating to this requirement. Offerors are responsible for checking the referenced website for any update(s) to this Notice. The Government is not responsible for any loss of Internet connectivity or for an Offerors inability to access the document posted at the referenced website. Contractors interested in doing business with the government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Information on registering in SAM via the internet at http://www.sam.gov. Contractors must also ensure annual representations and certifications are current in SAM. Contractors must also be registered in the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) invoicing system at https://wawf.eb.mil/.
