Description
Pharmacy Refill PWS-Draft Pharmacy Refill RFI SUBJECT: Request for Information - Pharmacy Refill Line 1. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute as a Request for Proposals (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the Government is not at this time seeking quotations and will not accept unsolicited offers. Interested vendors are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website: https://www.fbo.gov. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to this requirement. FAR 52.215-3 Request for Information of Solicitation for Planning Purposes (Oct 1997) (a) The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this RFI. (b) Although "proposal" and "offeror" are used in this Request for Information, your response will be treated as information only. It shall not be used as a proposal. (c) This solicitation is issued for the purpose of market research. 2. The 7th Contracting Squadron (7 CONS) is conducting market research to identify large and small businesses that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to provide automated pharmacy phone lines to refill medication services at Dyess AFB. The NAICS code for this effort is 541512, Computer Systems Design Services. The draft performance work statement (PWS) includes further details and expected workload. 3. The information that is gathered from this RFI will be used to form a formal RFP at a later time. Responders should answer all the following questions in as much detail as possible: a. Do you have any suggestions or questions regarding the attached draft PWS? b. Is your company able to provide the required services via the system currently in place? c. Is your company able to provide the required services IAW all applicable standards set forth by the Tricare Management Activity contract? d. If you are not able to provide an estimate, what information would you need in order to propose to meet the objectives of this service? 5. Do you currently provide similar services to other DoD installations? If so, please provide contract numbers. 6. If you cannot provide the service via the system already in place, how much affect will installation have on pricing? 4. The aforementioned information along with interest and capability statements are requested to be provided no later than 31 August via e-mail to A1C Brenda Rodriguez at brenda.rodriguez.3@us.af.mil and SrA Katrice Corbett at katrice.corbett.2.au@us.af.mil. Any questions must be submitted in writing via e-mail to the aforementioned personnel. 5. The information that is received from this RFI will be used to make the best decision on how to proceed with this acquisition. All information will be kept within the 7th Contracting Squadron, and will not be shared with any other potential offerors.
