The purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified businesses. Truman Memorial Hospital in Columbia, MO are looking to procure MINI- AVR/MVR sets, retractors, & instruments, and containers. The purpose is to provide minimally invasive Aortic & Mitral valve replacements. This allows for smaller incision, better exposure and quicker healing. (Do not have to saw through sternum) Also less OR time due to not having to open the sternum. (Requesting 2 sets). Salient Characteristics: Mini Thoracotomy Retractor, hinged 100mm length arms, including 2 sets of solid blades, 35x35mm and 50x35mm, 165mm max opening width between blades. Utilized for AVR and MVR procedures. Iron-Assistant Instrument Holder, straight extra-long bar 45cm, made of high grade stainless steel and high-quality alloy, quick central fixation knob, extra-long bar to be utilized for minimally invasive valves.
