Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Iliana Healthcare System VISN 12,1900 East Main Street Danville Illinois 61832, under the authority of FAR 13 (41 U.S.C. 1901 and implemented for restricting competition on this procurement via FAR 13.106-1(b)(2) ), intends to request quotation on a sole source basis with Ortho Clinical Diagnostics for continuance of Provue Analyzer Maintenance Services. NAICS 811219, with a size standard of $20.5 Million applies. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and services, including transportation cost necessary to provide Provue Analyzer Maintenance Services for the VA Iliana Health Care System, 1900 East Main Street, Danville, Illinois for the period of 10/1/2018 to 9/30/2019 to include an additional Three (3) One (1) Year options to be exercised at the discretion of the government. Services are to be provided in strict accordance with all schedules, specifications, terms, conditions and provisions of this contract. Any respondent to this notice must show that they have the capability to provide Provue Analyzer Maintenance, to include all non-consumable parts, labor, supervision, material, test equipment, and emergency services, including transportation. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 4:00 pm CDT on Friday August 31,2018.
