This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) and the solicitation number is 36C24418Q9505. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-97 effective January 24, 2018. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238210, Equipment Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors with a small business size standard of $15.0 Million. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Altoona VA Medical Center, 2907 Pleasant Valley Boulevard, Altoona, PA 16602-4377 is seeking to purchase Inspection-Testing Electrical Distribution System Service. All interested companies shall provide quotations for the following: The anticipated Period of Performance will be 60 days following Contract award and includes the following Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN): CLIN 0001: Infra-Red Scanning/Thermographic Survey performed on electrical equipment in accordance with the Statement of Work (60 days following Award). CLIN 0002: System Function Tests. Provide function test for all equipment listed in accordance with the Statement of Work (60 days following Award). CLIN 0003: Verification of current adjustable settings for applicable electrical equipment and recommendations for settings deemed incorrect based on electrical study findings in accordance with the Statement of Work (60 days following Award). CLIN 0004: Participation and assistance in the 4-Hour Power Outage Test as defined in accordance with the Statement of Work (60 days following Award). CLIN 0005: Documentation and reporting as defined in the Deliverables section in accordance with the Statement of Work (60 days following Award). See also Attachment 2, Price Cost Schedule. Service Contract Act Wage Determination Number 2015-4221, Revision Number 8, dated 01-10-2018, applies to this acquisition and will be incorporated into the resulting contract.
