Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Services Network (VISN) 2, intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c) (1) - FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements to ScriptPro for the purchase of 1 ScriptPro Patient Service Portal (PSP) using VA s National Acquisition Contract# V797D-4237B. This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract. Place of Performance: Department of Veteran Affairs Stratton VAMC Pharmacy 113 Holland Avenue Albany, NY 12208 The requested items are being sought for purchase under NAICS Code 339112- Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing This notice of intent is NOT a request for quotations. Interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement NO LATER THAN Wednesday September 5, 2018 by 3:30PM EST. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required equipment. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal responses are NOT acceptable and WILL NOT be considered. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to Announcement 3624218Q9505 - Notice of Intent. If after 08-29, 2018 no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, Department of Veterans Affairs shall award directly to ScriptPro for the required Patient Service Portal (PSP). This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted. The point of contact for this action is Contract Officer, Michael Morris who can be reached at Michael.Morris5@va.gov. Responses should be sent via email mail only. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed- price contract. A determination by the Government whether to compete its proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competition. See attached Scope of Work for additional details. Item 1: ScriptPro Patient Service Portal (PSP) Quantity: 1 PSP, 5 Pharmacy Data Terminals, 2 Prescription Notification Boards XL, 2 Pharmacy Patient Kiosks, 15 Smart Card Scanners, 5 Ticket Window Displays, 2 SP Kiosk Stands, 5 Audio Package Speakers, 1 Audio package setup, System integration for Notice Board, 6 KVM switches plus installation and 12 months support. Description of requirement: This equipment is required replacement of current outdated/patient queueing system that does not fulfill the VA IT information security requirement. This product will integrate with the existing ScriptPro / Vista interfaces. This system was recommended on a root cause analysis for pharmacy dispensing errors.
