Description
This is a Small business Sources Sought notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding: the availability and capability of qualified small business sources 2 whether there are small businesses, HUBZONE small businesses, service disabled veteran-owned small businesses or 8a small businesses, veteran- owned small business, woman-owned small businesses or small disadvantaged businesses veteran owned small businesses; woman owned businesses, or small disadvantaged businesses and 3 their size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System NAICS code for the proposed acquisition. Your response to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible. An organization that is not considered a small business under the applicable code should not submit a response to this notice. Background Information The National Institutes of Health NIH is the nation's foremost federally funded biomedical research institution. It is comprised of twenty-seven Institutes, Centers and Divisions. The Warren G. Magnuson Clinical Center is the on-site 267-bed hospital for the NIH campus comprised of clinical, laboratory and administrative staff who support the Institutes as they conduct clinical research working with inpatients and outpatients participating in research studies at the NIH. The Department of Peri-Operative Medicine Department DPM provides Peri-Operative Surgery support for patients enrolled in the experimental protocols of several Institutes. The Urologic Oncology Branch UOB was created in the spring of 1997. The mission of the branch was to develop a clinical and laboratory research program in urologic oncology for the purpose of developing better methods for diagnosis, prevention and treatment of urologic malignancies and also to provide basic and clinical research training for the development of urological surgical physician scientists. The Branch chief, Dr. Marston Linehan, catalyzed a productive collaborative study on familial kidney cancer syndromes that engaged a very large, diverse group on the NIH campus. These collaborations have resulted in a series of seminal and important findings that have established the NCI and this Branch as leaders in renal cell cancer research. These important discoveries, including the identification of the gene responsible for Von Hippel-Lindau VHL disease, illustrate the impact and the position of this Branch. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT Purpose and Objectives The purpose of this procurement is to obtain maintenance and service support for the for The Davinci XI owned by the National Institute of Health, Clinical Center CC. Project Description The contractor shall provide comprehensive maintenance and service support for the Government-owned Davinci XI. The service agreement will require guaranteed Response time witin 24 hours,Live suport, After hours phone support, Periodic software Enhancement,Preventative Maintenance,Parts Exchange,Endoscope Protection, Labor & Travel Exxpense, Certified Trained Technicians.. Period of Performance Base Year and Two Option Year Starting 9/29/2018 CLOSING STATEMENT THIS SYNOPSIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is not a Request for Quote. Sources interested in this requirement must provide a statement of capabilities in sufficient detail to determine if the requirements of this synopsis can be met. Responses to this notice shall contain sufficient information to establish the interested parties' bona-fide capabilities for fulfilling the requirement and include: unit price, list price, shipping and handling costs, the delivery period after contract award, the prompt payment discount terms, the F.O.B. Point (Destination or Origin), the Dun & Bradstreet Number DUNS, the Taxpayer Identification Number TIN, and the certification of business size. All Offerors must have an active registration in the System for Award Management SAM www.sam.gov. Response must be in writing and must be received within seven7 calendar days from the date of this notice sent to India Payne, Contract Specialist,ipayne@cc.nih.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based on responses from this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
