Description
This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 "Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items," as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation document will not be issued. Submit offers on RFQ 1922189. This solicitation is a request for quotes (RFQ). The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Looseleaf FAC 2005-100_8-22-18.pdf as of (08-29-18). The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 325414 - Biological Product (except Diagnostic) Manufacturing. This is a total small business set aside. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), Rocky Mountain Laboratories, is seeking to purchase ash removal system upgrade. This is a request for quotes. All interested companies shall provide quotation(s) for the following: All quotes should include a complete proposal to accomplish the end result required by NIAID. The purpose of this request is to develop a single domain antibody against a gpi-anchored glycoprotein. The development of the antibody will encompass immunization of two Llama or Alpaca with a single antigen, followed by a period of boosting and screening by ELISA to estimate the specific anti-sera titer (deliverable 1= polyclonal antiserum). After consideration of ELISA results, a decision to go-no-go will be made. If ELISA results support proceeding, PBMC's will be collected, RNA isolated, cDNA transcribed and the cDNA cloned into a phagemid to produce a VHH antibody library (deliverable 2= Phagemid library as glycerol stock). The library will be screened by multiple rounds (at least two) of affinity panning and direct ELISA with one antigen. ELISA positive clones (up to 96) will be sequenced (deliverable 3= ELISA reports and sequences of binders). *NOTE: Include ANY and ALL potential costs as line items in the quote. This is an open-market combined synopsis/solicitation for Custom nanobody- anti-mouse prion protein as defined herein. The government intends to award a fixed-price purchase order as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation that will include the terms and conditions set forth herein.
