Description

The Department of Veteran Affairs intends to solicit and negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order with one Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) source, ProAlliance Corp. The procurement is for KaVo dental handpieces. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 339114 (Dental Equipment & Supplies Manufacturer). To be considered a small business, company size must be less than 750 employees. ProAlliance Corp. is a certified SDVOSB listed in VetBiz. This procurement will be made under the authority of Title 38 U.S.C. 8127 and implemented under VAAR 819.7007. In accordance with VAAR 819-7007(b), sole source award to SDVOSB concerns, the Contracting Officer s determination whether to make a sole source award is a business decision wholly within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Award will be made September 5, 2018. This requirement is for: Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center 4815 N Assembly St Spokane, WA 99205 This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201(b)(1), to publicize the proposed contract action. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be made available. Any responses received will only be considered for the purposes of determining the marketplace for future procurement. The Government will not pay for information submitted. This will be the only notice of the Government s intent to solicit, negotiate, and award to one source to satisfy this requirement.
