Description

Please note that this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Northport VA medical center is currently conducting a market survey for qualified firms capable of providing Kitchen Grease Filter Services for Northport VA Medical Center) The vendor will be responsible for, but not limited to: KITCHEN GREASE FILTER CLEANING The Contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, tools, equipment, supervision and perform work to clean government owned exhaust hood grease filters in Building 200 s Main Kitchen and Cafeteria, Building 8 s Dining Room, and Building 92 s Dining Room. The Contractor shall provide full service for scheduled periodic maintenance and filter exchanges per manufacturer s instructions. There are a total of sixty-seven filters. The contractor s work shall include but not be limited to: Perform all work in accordance with all EPA, OSHA, Federal, State, Local codes, manufacturer s instructions and specifications and accepted trade practices. Provide a set of properly degreased and cleaned exchange filters every four (4) weeks (13) exchanges per year. Quantity and sizes, subject to change if new hoods, GFE, are installed: Quantity 54 Size 20 x 20 x 2, Location: Main Kitchen, Building 200 Quantity 7, Size 20 x 20 x 2, Location: Cafeteria, Building 200 Quantity 3, Size 20 x 20 x 2, Location: Cafeteria, Building 8 Quantity 3, Size 20 x 20 x 2, Location: Dining Room, Building 92 Provide exchange filters that are classified by ULC and meet requirements of NFPA CAL 75-74 SA Perform all work during normal duty hours Document all repairs and submit all documentation after repair or inspection is complete Properly dispose of all debris and waste legally The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 561720. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing via email at Eulanda.James@va.gov and must be received no later than September 4, 2018, 9:00 am DST. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. Interested firms should also add their information to the interested vendors list for this announcement at www.fbo.gov.The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification//socioeconomic status (service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, HUB Zone, 8(a), small business or large business), relative to NAICS 561720. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses to this notice should include company/individual name, a service capability statement, examples of similar facilities for which you have provided services to, DUNS number, address, point of contact and social-economic category (ex: SBVOSB, VOSB, 8(a), HUBZone, WOSB, EDWOSB, Small Business). If your firm is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned or Veteran Owned Small Business, you must be CERTIFIED in VetBiz (see internet site: http://vip.vetbiz.gov). Contractor must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM), formerly CCR (see internet site: http://www.sam.gov).
