- Redacted J&A HQ AMC/A4PI requires Laptop Storage Security Cabinets and Brand Name Only Cisco Switches for C-130, KC-135 Units. Delivery will be made to 10 AMC Continental United States (CONUS) and three AMC Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) locations. The Brand Name Only portion of this requirement is for Cisco Switches. Minimum specifications for the laptop cabinets are attached (Attachment 1). Switches: 1 each Cisco WS-C3560-8TC-S and 3 each Cisco WS-C3650-24PS. Laptop Storage Security Cabinets: (1) 5-Drawer, (2) 10-Drawer, (17) 20-Drawer, and (2) 30-Drawer. Cisco, brand name hardware is required for HQ AMC/A4PI to continue operations of existing network infrastructure built on the OEM equipment at each base and to maintain the integrity of the current manufacturer warranty and support of the existing OEM equipment. The OEM is the sole provider and manufacturer of all their hardware. Only Cisco certified resellers of Cisco products may provide Cisco OEM products without voiding warranties. Interoperability between Cisco switches is based on the software version that is running on each switch. All resellers shall be certified re-sellers of the OEM hardware. They are required to source OEM products directly from each OEM respectively and they shall confirm to have sourced all manufacturer products ubmitted in this offer directly from the manufacturer. Products obtained through channels other than the OEM may void support from the OEM. The required equipment is OEM randed and contains information proprietary to the OEM; no other provider can provide the equired hardware. If the Government would use another manufacturer's equipment, the Government would need to replace all existing Cisco networking equipment at the 13 AMC locations.
