Description

The USPFO - Kansas National Guard Purchasing and Contracting Office intends to solicit a sole source bridge contract for DFAC services at the Kansas Regional Training Institute (KSRTI), Salina, Kansas in order to allow the agency adequate time for a competitive re-procurement. This action is supported by the authority of requirement is being obtained as a Bridge Sole Source Contract under the authority of Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, 41 U.S.C. 1901 (or 41 U.S.C. 1903 for Special Emergency Procurement) as implemented by FAR Subpart 13.501 (a) (2) (i). The proposed action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Hoosier Food Service INC. (Cage Code 598Q5). In accordance with FAR 5.207 (c) (16) (ii), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
