Page 1 of 1 The Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO 21) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a single, firm fixed-price contract for a design/build project, Renovate Specialty Clinic for Compounding Hood Project: 654-18-800. This project is intended to allow the facility to more effectively address compounding hood needs by establishing a location for a hood adjacent to the pertinent patients. The project must meet USP 800 standards and requirements. Place of performance is the VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System, 975 Kirman Avenue, Reno, Nevada, 89502. Scope of this includes design/build services providing all materials, labor, and supervision to perform design, reconfiguration, replacement, installation as required by the statement of work. The period of performance will be 180 days from issuance of Notice to Proceed (NTP). This project is being solicited as a total 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). IAW VAAR 836.204, the magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and the small business size standard is $36.5 million. This is a Pre-Solicitation announcement only. The solicitation is tentatively scheduled to be released on or about 17 September 2018. The location, date and time of the site visit conference will be in the solicitation. The solicitation will contain proposal instructions, with actual dates and times will be identified in the solicitation. The contract will be awarded in accordance with the procedures specified in the solicitation. The solicitation, specifications, and drawings will be available only from the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website, on-line at www.fbo.gov. All parties must obtain solicitation documents and amendments to the solicitation through FBO. Hard copies will not be mailed. It is the responsibility of all contractors to frequently check the website for all notices, amendment, etc., regarding this solicitation. The Government will not be responsible for any notification not sent or received by the contractor regarding the solicitation. In accordance with FAR 5.203, this notice is being published at least fifteen days before issuance of the solicitation.
