Description

This synopsis precedes the issuance of a Request for Quote (RFQ) 36C245-19-Q-9124. The Contractor shall furnish all services in accordance with the performance work statement and schedule identified in the solicitation to provide wheelchair van transportation to include medical equipment necessary for the transportation services to eligible beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs. The subsequent contract will be performed for Veterans Administration Maryland Health Care System (VAMHCS) to VA Medical Centers and Clinics, 10 North Greene Street, Baltimore MD 21201, Perry Point MD 31902, which includes but is not limited to, a medical center, emergency room, and psychiatric care. In addition, it supports five Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCS); 3900 Loch Raven Blvd. Baltimore MD 21218, 9600 North Point Road, FT Howard MD21052, Cambridge 830 Chesapeake Dr. 21613, Glen Burnie 808 landmark Dr. Suite 128 21061, Pocomoke 101 Market Street, Pocomoke 21851. The use of VAMHCS throughout this document shall be interpreted as the Veterans Administration Maryland Health Care System and all five CBOCs associated with it. The Contractor shall provide Wheelchair coverage for the VAMHCS, 24 hours per day/7 days per week, 365 days per year. As a result of the solicitation, the Government intends to award one (1) 3-year indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity, (IDIQ) Contract, made to multiple offerors who meet the response requirements listed in solicitation. This solicitation is a 100% set aside for Veteran-Owned Small Businesses; this is including Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. All Contractors must be registered in System for Award Management at www.sam.gov and in VIP at https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/ to be eligible for award and complete their online Representations and Certifications at www.sam.gov. The applicable NAICS code is 485991with a size standard of $15 million in average annual receipts. Award will be made to the offerors whose quote is responsive and conforming to the RFQ using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable procedures. The anticipated release date for the Solicitation is September 5, 2018. The solicitation will be posted at this website, www.fbo.gov. All inquiries shall be in writing, telephonic inquiries will not be accepted.
