- Services, ESMAB_PIIC_BS Enterprise SMA Basic (sector) THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. This is a notice of intent to solicit Philips Healthcare for preventative maintenance. Services include all labor, equipment, tools, material, repair service, parts, and other items and services for complete On-Site Maintenance Service. Necessary to for Philips Patient Monitoring Service Enterprise SMA Basic (SECTOR) ESMAB_PIIC_BS SO#6303448262. Under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.501, the Contracting Officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem that only one source being reasonably available to meet the Government's needs. A determination not to compete this proposed contract is based on market research and is solely within the discretion of the government. Classification Code: J065 NAICS: 811219 Period of Performance: September 17, 2018 through September 16, 2019, with four, one-year options. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. Any interested party that believes they can fulfill this requirement should submit a capability statement to be reviewed. All responses must be received by September 5, 2018 no later than 9:00 AM Daylight Saving Time (DST) in order, to be considered by the Government. If the Department of Veterans Affairs does not receive an acceptable response to this announcement by the aforementioned date and time, in accordance with FAR 13.501, efforts to obtain these services will be continued with Philips Healthcare. A fixed priced contract will be issued without any additional notices being posted. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose, of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No cost to the government will arise as a result, of contractor submissions of responses to this announcement or the government use of such information. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response.
