THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. No Solicitation is currently available. All information contained in this Sources Sought Announcement is preliminary, as well as subject to modification, and is in no way binding on the Government. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this request. The information requested will be used solely within the Department of Veterans Affairs to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside of the Government. The determination of a procurement strategy, based upon the comments submitted in response to this Sources Sought Announcement, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is: 333318 Other Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing Small Business Standard Size is N/A Size Standard in Number of Employees: 1000 Potential Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for an award (See Internet Site https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/). Potential Offerors must also have a current Online Representations and Certification Application on file with SAM. Service Disabled Veteran Owned and Veteran Owned Small Businesses must be registered and verified in the Department of Veterans Affairs Vendor Information Pages (VIP) (See Internet Site https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/). Brief Description of Services SCOPE OF WORK SOW: Replace Kitchen Scrapping Table with Waste Collector Contractor to provide a manufactured Food Service Scrapping Table (with the ability to connect a waste collector). Brand Specific or Equal to (Aerowerks Model P114147-BR1) which includes: Soiled Breakdown System Gravity Transfer System to transfer racks of dishes into existing dishwasher Capability to connect a Waste Collector (Salvajor Model S419 or equivalent) Control Panel Assembly (NEMA 4) Stainless Steel Watertight enclosures Contractor shall supply drawings as to the plumbing and electrical requirements and location to the VA.   Complete system to be modular/base mounted Pre-wired, pre-piped for field installation into predetermined area.     Start up and Training session shall be provided by a factory trained service technician. Salient Characteristics for Manufactured Kitchen Scrapping Table: (Aerowerks Model P114147-BR1) or Equal Too Soiled Breakdown System to include: One soiled dish table, C/W two waste troughs, Two magnetic silver savers, perforated S/S ledges, four hip switches, four auto plate rinse stations, overhead rack shelf, disposer flange connection, and disposer control panel. One Rollers rack transfer, Model Aerowerks GRC, C/W1.9 diameter PVC rollers,  Lift-up gate,   and dish machine connection. One Hose clean up station. Two mobile soak sinks. Additional Salient Characteristics: Manufactured Table must be efficient (time and energy) Manufactured Table ergonomic efficient Roller Rack Transfer/PVC Rollers (allows less force to move trays) Mobile sinks and spray hose capability (Salvajor Model S419 Trough Collector) or Waste Collector Equal too Trough conveyor & Collecting System, Hydrologic with LCD readout, trough diffuser, salvage basin & silverware trap, scrap basket, ¾ HP Corrosion-resistant pump, pump intake screen, start/stop push button control panel, with safety line disconnect & automatic shut off timer Stainless Steel Construction UL, CSA, CE and NSF approved. Additional Salient Characteristics: Energy Efficient for both water and power Product will be safe Product must be compatible with VA electrical requirements Product must emergency shutoff switch (as well as remote start) Product must comply with VA water requirements and drainage Contract Work Hours: Monday Friday (7:00am 3:00pm PST) Location: VA Central California Healthcare System (VACCHCS) 2615 E.
