- Questions and Answers. Questions portion of this solicitation as closed. Attached are the answers to the questions received. Question and Answers: W81K00-18-T-M082 1. Whether companies from Outside USA can apply for this (like,from India or Canada)? Answer: IAW solicitation W81K00-18-T-M082, 252.225-7036 applies in its entirety (http://farsite.hill.af.mil/vmdfara.htm). Also, 252.225-7002 applies. This Clause was inadvertently left out of the solicitation. An amendment will be accomplished to add this in the solicitation. Also, 52.212-1 (c ), addresses SAM requirements. 2. Whether we need to come over there for meetings? Answer: IAW solicitation W81K00-18-T-M082,Contractor shall provide maintenance services for EACH in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. Contractor shall provide maintenance services that includes all resources, labor, travel, transportation, parts, materials, equipment, and management necessary to keep the medical equipment in good operating condition and to perform all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. 3. Can we perform the tasks (related to RFP) outside USA (like, from India or Canada)? Answer: IAW solicitation W81K00-18-T-M082,Contractor shall provide maintenance services for EACH in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. Contractor shall provide maintenance services that includes all resources, labor, travel, transportation, parts, materials, equipment, and management necessary to keep the medical equipment in good operating condition and to perform all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Additionally, maintenance agreement portion requires on-site support. No remote updates or maintenance is allowed. 4. Can we submit the proposals via email? Answer: IAW solicitation W81K00-18-T-M082, page 1 (cover page) says: Quotes are due by 19 September 2018, at 10:00 AM, Mountain Standard Time (MST). The point of contact is Ms. Kathryn Cortes at Kathryn.r.cortes.civ@mail.mil. Offers shall be submitted via e-mail. 5. Number of Sites? Answer: Just 1, Evans Army Community Hospital 6. Number of Procedure rooms GI/Pulmonary Procedure Rooms? Answer: 5, currently have 3 procedure rooms in GI, additional room in the OR, pulmonary has a separate room 7. Number of Travel Carts GI/Pulmonary Per Site? Answer: 2 total (1 in GI and 1 in Pulmonary) 8. Number of Dictation Stations GI/Pulmonary stations by site? Answer: 10 9. Number of rooms where ERCP/EUS/EBUS are performed by site? Answer: 1 in the OR 10. Do you perform Capsule Endoscopy at any of the sites? Answer: Yes 11. Legacy system migration needed? If yes, how many years have you had on both sites? Answer: Yes, Evans Army Community Hospital has had Endoworks for over 10 years. 12. Yearly Volume of Procedures at each Site? Answer: 3,000 to 3,500 Endoscopies, bronchoscopy volume is expected to be around 50 per year 13. Scope Types used at each site? Answer: Olympus
