- Ohara Pit Map American Frontier Pit Map Specifications American Frontier Pit FAR 52.212-4 Commercial Items (Modified Specifications Ohara Pit Experience Questionnaire Combined Synopsis Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number and a statement that the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Description of requirements for the items to be acquired. O'Hara Pit Aggregate: Statement of Work The purpose of this contract is to supply 1,960 tons of Surface Aggregate, 420 tons of 4" minus aggregate, 420 tons of Class 2 RIP RAP aggregate. Location of the O'Hara Pit is mile post 0.5 of the Forest Service Road 651 on the Moose Creek Ranger District. Work includes site preparation of the existing stockpile, aggregate supply, haul and stockpile formation. Below is the gradation requirements of aggregate for each source per FP14 and AASHTO. Location: Directions to the site are as follows: From Kooskia, ID, head East on Highway 12 for approximately 23 miles turn Right (South) and head 7 miles East on FS Rd 223. Turn Right on FS Road 651 and go approximately a 0.5 mile (South), just across the O'Hara Bridge and the pit will be on the right. Latitude: 46⁰ 50'29" N. Longitude: 115⁰ 31'7.87" W. The supplier will be required to provide material from a Certified Weed Free source and furnish the CO/COR a copy of the Weed Free Certification. Supplier will be required to supply/give an original copy of the "Certified Scale/Delivery Ticket" with the date and time stamped as well as when the time when delivered on site to the Forest Service CO/COR. The supplier will be required to keep the stockpile within the existing cleared area. Location will be marked. Care in haul and stockpile formation shall be taken to prevent segregation of aggregate. Build the stockpile in layers not exceeding 3 feet thick and side slopes shall be no flatter than 1:1.5 slope. American Frontier Aggregate: Statement of Work The purpose of this contract is to supply 1,891 tons of Surface Aggregate, 405 tons of 3" minus aggregate, 405 tons of Class 2 RIP RAP aggregate. Location of the American Frontier Pit is mile post 26 of Forest Service Road 464 on the Moose Creek Ranger District. Work includes site preparation of the existing stockpile, aggregate supply, haul and stockpile formation. Below is the gradation requirements of aggregate for each source per FP14 and AASHTO. Location: Directions to the site are as follows: Directions to the site are as follows: From the Lochsa Ranger Station, Kooskia, ID, turn left on HWY 13/Broadway Ave and go approximately 0.6 miles and keep right onto Clear Creek RD. Go approximately 2.1 miles and turn right onto Leitch Creek Rd and go approximately 4.75 miles and turn left onto FS RD 286. Go approximately 31 miles and turn left onto FS RD 464 at Lytle Cow Camp and go approximately 23 miles and the pit will be on the right. Latitude: 45⁰ 59'11.58" N: Longitude: 115⁰ 28'04.67" W. The supplier will be required to provide material from a Certified Weed Free source and furnish the CO/COR a copy of the Weed Free Certification. Supplier will be required to supply/give an original copy of the "Certified Scale/Delivery Ticket" with the date and time stamped as well as when the time when delivered on site to the Forest Service CO/COR. The period of performance: It is estimated that work will begin on or about date of award and is to run continuously until 30 September 2018. The Government reserves the right to adjust the ending period of performance for each site based on potential access prior to safe travel and delivery in conjunction with weather conditions.
