NOTE: THIS NOTICE REPLACES THE PREVIOUS PRESOLICITATION NOTICE THAT WAS POSTED UNDER SOLICITATION NUMBER 36C10E18Q9436. THE PREVIOUS SOLICITATION NUMBER WILL NO LONGER BE USED. THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY: THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPROSAL. The Veterans Benefits Administration, St. Petersburg, FL Regional Office is seeking the services of a certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business that will provide materials, labor, tools, equipment, transportation, and qualified supervision required for a project to repair seventeen (17) non-performing motorized hurricane shutters. THIS REQUIREMENT WILL BE 100% SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES. The contractor will be required to conduct a field site survey to verify measurements, locations, and site conditions for seventeen (17) non-performing motorized hurricane shutters; repair the seventeen (17) non-performing hurricane shutters, which may include replacing the shutter motor; and ensure the seventeen (17) repaired motorized hurricane shutters are tied into the existing building circuit grid (Metasys) so they raise and lower in sequential order. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238290 with a small business size standard of $15M. The estimated dollar amount of this procurement is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Solicitation will be posted on/about September 7, 2018. A pre-proposal walk-through may be held on or about one week after the posting of the solicitation. These dates are estimates. The actual dates will be stated in the solicitation. The Contracting Officer s email address is Heather.Hampton@va.gov. Firms submitting a proposal must be registered at both the System for Award Management (SAM) and Vet Biz (CVE Certified). The Online Representations and Certifications (SAM) must be completed by each firm submitting a proposal prior to the due date. Important Notice: Apparent successful offeror must apply for and receive verification from the Department of Veteran Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) in accordance with 38 CFR Part 74 and VAAR 819.70 by submission of documentation of Veteran status, ownership and control sufficient to establish appropriate status, offeror must be both VISIBLE and VERIFIED by the Department of Veteran Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprises at the time of submission of proposal. Failure to be both VERIFIED by CVE and VISIBLE on VetBiz at the time of proposal submission will result in the offeror's proposal being deemed non-responsive. All offerors are urged to contact the CVE and submit the aforementioned required documents to obtain CVE verification of their SDVOSB status if they have not already done so.
