- VETERANS AFFAIRS MEDICAL CENTER, Wilkes Barre, PA GENERAL INFORMATION FOLLOWED BY A TENTATIVE STATEMENT OF WORK NOTICE: This is not a solicitation but rather a Request for Information (RFI) (Sources Sought) to determine capability of potential sources and is for information and planning purposes only. Veterans Health Affairs, Network Contracting Office 4, is issuing this request for information/sources sought notice to identify capable firms to provide Siemens 3D TEE Probes and training for the Cardiology Section of Medical Service. The unit must be brand name or equal and meet industry standards. Responses must be submitted by COB September 10th, 2018. Submit responses to the information requested above via email to jami.cade@va.gov. All SDVOSB and VOSB firms that respond shall include proof of CVE certification via www.vip.vetbiz.gov. All small business firms that respond shall include proof of small business status via their Representations and Certifications in accordance with (FAR 4.1102 Policy). While SDVOSB/VOSB contractors are preferred, all capable contractors are welcome to respond to this source sought notice for market research purposes, and shall include as part of their response a brief capability statement that covers the information in the following tentative statement of work. The results of this market research will assist in the development of (1) the requirement, and (2) the acquisition strategy (e.g., socioeconomic set-aside, full and open competition, etc.). VA assumes no responsibility for any costs incurred associated with the preparation of responses. Tentative/Sample Statement of Work: Background: 3D ultrasound integration into echocardiography allows practitioners to incorporate form, function, and flow in one comprehensive view. 3D allows the provider to more accurately visualize the details that need to be assessed for valvular repair and replacement cases without adding procedural time and complexity. The Siemens 3D system, which is the manufacturer of the Wilkes-Barre VAMC s four echocardiogram machines, is engineered to provide uniform, anatomically precise images. Improved B-Mode imaging, RES, and 4D TEQ on the Z6Ms eSie LVA volume LV analysis on the Z6Ms eSie Measure spectral Doppler on TEE for mid-- esophageal views only eSie VVI velocity vector imaging technology updates: adding GLS and GCS eSie Valves advances analysis: Aortic Stenosis detection and Mitral Valve detection eSie LVA volume LV analysis contour detection for DCM (Dilated Cardiomyopathy) patients ACUSON SC2000 Z6Ms True Volume TEE Transducer (brand name or equivalent) eSie Valves advanced analysis package Quantity: Two (2) transducers Delivery: Delivery accepted at VAMC Wilkes Barre; Weekdays 8:00am 4:00pm, excluding any government holidays. Installation: Vendor shall unpack and setup equipment which will be comprehensive to allow immediate use upon completion. This will include testing the machine and verifying functionality is met to the satisfaction of the government. Training: Vendor shall provide onsite training to include basic or advanced training on system and options.
