Description
Questions from interested parties are answered below: 1. What is the expected input voltage range and source impedance? A: Voltage Range: -2.5 to 2.5 V, Impedance 50 ohm 2. Is a desktop height roll-around 19" rack an acceptable form factor? A: Yes 3. Is there any requirement for data storage format? A: No, data will be stored on PC hard drive 4. Is there any requirement for presenting data? A: No 5. What is the maximum signal level of the analog signals? A: -2.5V to 2.5 V 6. What is the digital signal level? A: 0-5V 7. What is the digital signal used for? Is it also captured or is it used as a trigger to start/stop analog capture? A: Digital input signal is a trigger. 8. If 2 or more modules are used to meet the channel count requirements, what level of synchronization is required from module to module? Do they need to be synchronized down to a single sample? A: Yes, the samples all need to be synchronized down to a single sample. 9. What format is desired for storing data to disk? A: We expect to store data on the PC hard drive. 10. The documentation calls for "Controllable via Matlab or LabView on a PC, or control system with user interface included" I don't see any information about what is required for the user interface. Is this an instrumentation design and purchase only, or is there LabVIEW development expected to create a user interface? A: This is an instrumentation design and purchase only. There is no LabVIEW development expected to create a user interface. LabVIEW development will be done by researchers at USAFA. This means that the hardware must be capable of interfacing with LabVIEW software.
