- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The 673d Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson ABW, Alaska intends to award a sole source order to Addition Manufacturing Technologies as a result of no responses received in reference to the Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought, in which the business was able to verify the ability to perform maintenance for an Eaton Leonard hydraulic tube bender machine for JBER, AK due to proprietary software. The machine manufacturer was able to confirm the ability to provide the services of the requirement. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and "Other than Full and Open Competition" as authorized by FAR 13.501. The anticipated award date is 20 September 2018. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the product/services listed above. Deadline date for the submittals is 12 September 2018 at 02:00 pm Alaska Standard Time. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
