- Description
- This is a FBO Special Notice of Intent to award a sole source. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2), on behalf of the VA New York Harbor Healthcare System, New York Campus, intends to award a sole source to GE Healthcare (DUNS 073838534), 3000 N. Grandview Blvd - Waukesha, WI 53188-1615. The period of performance will be effective September 26, 2018 through September 25, 2019 with two twelve months option years. This requirement is to furnish all necessary labor, equipment, tools, materials, repair service, software, updates, parts and other items and services necessary to perform full service preventative maintenance on Government owned GE NM Infinia II 3/8 HE4 (NMH922) and GE Workstation NM Xeleris 2 View (NX2VWR) systems. The purpose of the service agreement is to reduce service costs and improve equipment turn-around time and reliability. This will be a firm-fixed price task order against contract VA797H-17-D-0024 with the VA National Acquisition Center (NAC). This contract is in support of the VA-DoD Direct Sharing Agreement with Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) with contract SPE2D1-17-D-0015. The use of this contract, after first considering mandatory sources, is strongly encouraged by the NAC. The GE NM Infinia II 3/8 HE4 (NMH922) and GE Workstation NM Xeleris 2 View (NX2VWR) systems are located at the VA New York Healthcare System, New York Campus, 423 E. 23rd Street New York, New York 10010-5011. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by September 13, 2018 by 10:00am EDT. Responses shall be submitted via email to Josie.Tuitt@va.gov.
