Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY,22018-SS33,and a SOLICITATION IS NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. This notice is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or an obligation on the part of the Government. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for quotes. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary. The government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred associated to this request for capability information. USDA, ARS, is seeking a contractor to provide the. Picarro G2204 CH4/H2s Analyzer with 19" LCD display with DVI port. This requirement is brand name or equal per FAR 52.211-6. Salient Characteristics 1) The analyzer must operate using the technique commonly known as Cavity Ring-down Spectroscopy (CRDS); (2) the digitization speed of the ring-down analog to digital converter must be at least 25 MHz; (3) the analyzer is required to have guaranteed, tested, certified and quote drift specifications for CH4 and H2S over 24 hrs and/or 1 month of continuous Operation; (4) the analyzer must be temperature stabilized to within 0.005 °C and pressure stabilized to within 0.0002 atm using 24 bit ADC sensors; (5) analyzer must be equipped with a wavelength monitor which controls the wavelength of the laser to within 2MHz; (6) the analyzer measurement cavity is required to have a sample volume less than 35 ml to enable fast sample throughput; (7) for use on cars, truck and in the field, the analyzer is required to be subjected to, and must pass, a mil-spec drop test, a vibration test on both axes, and an environmental chamber test; (8) operation software must report data real time in multiple charts, be developed for the Windows environment and allow calibration and pulse analysis functionality; (9) the analyzer must be highly field deployable and capable of integration with a mobile monitoring kit which automatically syncs the data with weather data in order to generate 3D plume mapping. This sources sought request is being used as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to provide the product(s) required. The result of this market research will contribute to determining whether there are adequate sources available from which to receive competitive proposals.
