Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Responses to this Sources Sought must be in writing. The purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified businesses. Responses to this notice shall include: Company Name Address Point of Contact Phone, Fax, and Email DUNS number Cage Code Type of business, e.g. Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, 8(a), HUB Zone, Women Owned Small Business, SDB Must provide a capability statement that addresses the organizations qualifications and ability to perform the work described below: The Kansas City VA Medical Center is looking to purchase Arthroscopy Crossflow and Consoles to support our surgeons during surgical procedures. These consoles will consist of (3 EA) CROSSFLOW INTEGRATED ARTHROSCOPY PUMP, (3 EA) CROSSFIRE 2 CONSOLE, (3 EA) CROSSFIRE FOOTSWITCH, (3 EA) MICRO CART PKG and (6 EA) FORMULA 180 SHAVER (HAND CONTROLS). This solicitation uses a Brand Name or Equal Description of the product required. This permits prospective contractors to offer products other than those specifically referenced by brand name (Stryker Endoscopy). Integrated Arthroscopy Pump: Can be operated in inflow only or inflow/outflow mode and comes equipped with a hand control and customizable footswitch. Function that allows for a customized, quick increase in pressure and flow to clear debris, control bleeding, and improve visualization in the joint. Function that is designed for quick dismissal and flushing of debris from the joint. It increases flow only while not increasing pressure. Function which allows the user to switch the scope/hardware combination being used during the case, without recalibrating the pump. Function to remove fluid from the surgical site for 30 seconds, or until the user stops the pump. Function that allows the surgeon to use the shaver, without activating it, to remove loose tissue, debris, and fluid from the joint while the pump is operating. Capability of interfacing with Stryker video systems Crossfire Console: Console with Integrated Ablation Programmable for surgeon & procedure specifics Bipolar RF technology for the electrosurgical cutting and coagulation of tissue Sidney Compatible- Voice activated by surgeon to change RPM, oscillate to spin Compatible with Stryker Integrated Arthroscopy Pump Acts as a connection hub for the various components of the system Provides a central user interface for operating the system Powers a motorized shaver hand piece for the mechanical cutting and debridement of bone and soft tissue Hospital-grade power cord Intended for use in the electromagnetic environment Crossfire Footswitches: Optional wired or wireless technology Provides remote, foot control of the powered shaver hand piece and RF probe Functions; Decrease/Increase Cut Level; Cut; Coag; Oscillate/Reverse (variable), Select Direction: Forward or Reverse; Select Hand piece: RF or Shaver Designed to be used with console Micro Cart Package: Conveniently house Arthroscopy pump, Integrated Console, and Footswitch equipment in a compact system allowing the equipment to easily be moved from one room to another.
